Our services are freely available to UK National Health Service hospital departments and general practices, NHS Departments of Public Health and HPA Units. TOXBASE is used by NHS Direct and NHS 24 but it is not available to individual members of the public.
TOXBASE is available to hospital emergency departments in Ireland by contract. It is also available to European poisons centres whose staff are members of the EAPCCT.
Commercial companies and other users, including those overseas, may be allowed access on payment of a yearly subscription, subject to approval of the Health Protection Agency.”
